Variegated in the textured density of the artist’s brushstrokes, the flowers are stilled within a haze of ethereal blue - a vision or condensed energy that holds the viewer’s gaze. The vase, distorted and ambiguous, becomes a metaphor for human nature - often skewed toward the masculine form - while the flowers within it evoke the symbolic beauty of femininity.
