Art Genève, 14th edition

Art Genève 2026

Art Genève 2026 delivered a focused and cohesive edition this year, presenting a strong register, dense booth layouts, and a consistent visual rhythm. Galleries displayed distinct curatorial positions, yet a shared clarity of visual language was evident throughout. Booths were well-articulated, works read clearly, and exposures sustained attention - an essential condition for collector engagement.

Figurative practices dominated the fair,

with a strong emphasis on the human figure, the body, lived experience, and everyday spatial contexts. Abstraction appeared more selectively, while digital practices gained particular relevance. Pace Gallery stood out through its presentation of digital works by Michal Rovner, offering one of the fair’s most convincing digital-focused booths.

The preview day drew a high number of collectors, with genuine engagement throughout. According to conversations with galleries, sales began immediately: significant works were placed early, decisions were made quickly, and purchases reflected a strong level of confidence. For participating galleries, this translated into strong results and signaled a notably positive moment for Art Genève.

Additionally, the continued presence of galleries working with Modernism and blue-chip artworks makes a critical addition to the fair. Shown alongside contemporary practices, these practices develop a dialogue that contributed with strong effect to this year’s layout.

Art Genève now operates with a clear sense of purpose and direction, attentive to curatorial rigor and market dynamics. This clarity was the defining impression of this year’s edition.
