FORA Gallery

Regional Perspectives | International Context

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Geneva, FORA Gallery is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to representing emerging and established artists from the Caucasus and Central Asia. With an active presence across Europe and a frequent exhibition programme anchored in Paris and Geneva, FORA operates at the intersection of rigorous curatorial practice and a deep commitment to amplifying the artists who are defining the cultural voice of their region on the international stage.

The gallery works with artists whose practices engage critically with the histories, social realities, and cultural transformations of the region. Through painting, video, photography, textile, installation, performance, and digital media, FORA's artists contribute new and necessary readings of the region's cultural landscape — addressing questions of memory, colonial and post-colonial identity, environmental challenges, migration, gender dynamics, and the place of regional perspectives within contemporary global artistic discourse.

FORA operates as a hybrid gallery, placing particular emphasis on online visibility as a strategic pillar of its programme. Through its presence on leading platforms such as Artsy, alongside an active engagement across digital channels, the gallery ensures that its artists and their work are accessible to the widest possible international audience — well beyond the confines of any single exhibition space. This digital-first approach is complemented by selected physical exhibitions and events, and reflects FORA's broader commitment to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious model of gallery practice.
