‘Protect’ unfolds as a tender and quietly surreal composition. At its center is a young woman, her face and body partially obscured by a sheer veil held by the second figure within the frame. This presence, a djinn, veiling the woman, stands still in a protective and intimate gesture. The transparent cover signifies no concealment, it allows the woman to see and be seen. To the external world, it appears invisible - a protective layer between her and the unknown dangers. The djinn, moved by love, shields her not by isolating her from the world, but by softening its gaze. His intervention is quiet, romantic, and reverent.
