The canvas is saturated with verdant greens, its shadowed landscape forming a living tapestry that conceals more than it reveals. At its center sit two fishermen, backs turned to one another, asleep. In an oblivion, they are unaware that the forest around them is alive with curious watchers. Beneath the surface of the river swims a dragon, from above, a giant peers between parted branches. All silently observing the intruders. For the inhabitants of these enchanted woods, the human presence is strange and uncertain. They gather not out of malice, but out of wonder, trying to understand what these two figures might bring - harm or harmony.
