The sky behind her radiates in deep red tones, reflecting a fire that devours her past. Among the fiery waves of her hair, subtle traces of a smile emerge on her face, suggesting a complex interplay between destruction and resilience. The work captures a suspended moment in which memory, transformation, and self-possession converge, creating a tension that is at once intimate and cinematic. Each composition by Javid Ilham revolves around characters inspired by real people he has encountered in one way or another.
